Geekbench 2.3, released last month, introduced Pro licenses. One of the features unique to Geekbench 2 Pro is standalone mode. Standalone model allows you to install Geekbench from a removable drive (such as a USB or a network drive). Standalone mode is great for testing your clients’ or your fellow employees’ systems since you don’t have to enter your license information to run Geekbench, and you don’t have to remove your license information once you’re done.
It’s easy to set up standalone mode. I’ve added instructions on how to do it on the Primate Labs support website.
